Programs we take part in
We work with affiliate programs run by retailers and brands, either directly or through affiliate networks. We name the programs we belong to on this page, and any program-specific statements they require appear here.
How we tell you
- Every post with affiliate links has a short note near the top, before the first link, saying that we earn commissions from purchases made through links in the post.
- Product buttons and boxes are clearly labelled, for example “Paid link”.
- Affiliate and sponsored links carry the
rel="sponsored"attribute so that search engines can identify them.
How we choose products
- We only recommend products we believe are useful and suitable for the age group in question.
- We say clearly whether a recommendation is based on our own use, or on specifications, published safety guidance and other parents’ reviews.
- We don’t accept payment for positive reviews, and brands don’t approve our content before it’s published.
- Prices and availability change. Always check them on the retailer’s site.
Products we don’t promote
In line with the World Health Organization’s International Code of Marketing of Breast-milk Substitutes and Pakistan’s laws protecting breastfeeding, we don’t use affiliate links for, take sponsorship from, or promote infant formula, follow-on formula, growing-up or toddler milks, feeding bottles, teats or pacifiers. Where it helps parents, we may still share factual guidance about these products from health authorities, such as how to prepare and store formula safely.
Sponsored content
If a brand ever pays us to feature its product, the post will be clearly labelled “Sponsored” at the top, and the same editorial standards will apply.
